In dramatic fashion, the NHDLGA team of Jennie Bellamy,  Jill Blenkey, Patsy Fielding, Jenny Frost, Tania Hutchins,  Lyn Horswood,  Holly Ibbotson, Dom Kelly, Carol Knox , Stacie McDonald, Katrina Skinner-Oyston, Jenny Thompson brought home the NewCoast Cup for the second consecutive year.   The match came down to the last pair on the last hole of the last day.   At the end of regulation on day two the matches were square and pushed the teams into sudden death playoff.   Stacie McDonald (NHDLGA) birdied the par 5, 1st to win the hole and the contest for NHDLGA.  For more details and results of the two day event, see the NewCoast Cup page under the events menu.   Congratulations to all!

Carol Knox from Merewether had a hole-in-one on Merewether's 13th hole on Monday 8 November.  Selecting her 5 wood for the 135 m hole was a perfect choice during the  elimination match for the club championships.   Well done Carol and congratulations!

A group of NHDLGA ladies travelled to Armidale for their Ladies Armidale Jug- 2 day event and came home winners.  In the 4BBB (day 2) Katrina Skinner-Oyston and Dom Kelly won best scratch score and Jenny Thompson got 2 NTP, one of which was a money hole!   Well done ladies and congrats!

Katrina Skinner-Oyston from Maitland got a hole-in-one on Tuesday 9 November at Muree using a 4 iron on the 8th hole (par 3, 141 m).   This shot marks her 3rd hole-in-one, and the second THIS YEAR!   Congratulations Katrina

Katrina Kinner-Oyston (Maitland) scored a hole-in-one on the 4th hole at Tuncurry GC during their Open Day.   Katrina was the first to tee off on the 4th (about 115 m) and put the ball in the hole!  A hole-on-one is spectacular at any time but... the first shot of the day!  Incredible!   Congratulations Katrina

The Country Cup was played yesterday at Muswellbrook GC with the NHDLGA District taking on the HRDGA.  HRDGA took advantage of their home course advantage and defeated NHDLGA in a tightly contested match.   Final score was HRDGA- 582 points  and  NHDLGA- 571 points.  Congratulations to the participants!
