COMMITTEE DAY

A reminder that entries for the 2012 Committee Day to be held on Monday 27th February close on 14th February 2012. Pull down NHDLGA Events from the menu bar, locate Committees Day for the Flyer and Entry Form. This is a team event, so come along and meet committee members from other clubs for a fun filled day.

The sheet and final Pennant Draws and Results Sheets are also available. Go to the Pennants tab in the menu at the top of the page to locate the files. Conditions of Play for 2012 will be posted soon.

On the Menu bar at the top of the page, go to Club Events. On the pull down menu go to Our Clubs Open Days, and then click on Flyers, Conditions of Play and Entry Forms, look for the club and click on Flyer and Entry Form.

Handicapping, Course Ratings and Rules

Check out the Changes to the Rules of Golf which became effective from 1st January 2012. These relate to Ball Moving after Address, Ball in Hazard, Time of Starting and Amateur Status. Go to the FAQ page for more information. The complete new 2012 Rules of Golf is now available on line from Golf Australia.

 

The answers for the November rules quiz are now online. The Rules Quiz will resume in March 2012.

Golf Australia has also decided to implement the US course rating system which will come into effect for every golf course in Australia as soon as it has been re-rated. Visit our FAQ page to find out more.
